CARTOONS CAPSULE
Role: creative direction, designer, photographer, photo editor.
Going back to the 90s and early 2000s this t-shirt collection has some of the most memorable cartoons from that time. The goal was to take that nostalgic feeling and give it a cool style.
For this project the creative process was highly collaborative, also, a digital painting asistent participated in the design stage.
The final result was a pretty cool set of unique sublimated shirts that includes the Rugrats, The Simpsons, Rocko's Modern Life and more classics.

The Concept was based on classic 90s cartoons by Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. Taking also the psychedelic look of die-tie vintage shirts for backgrounds.
All the elements (characters, objects, backgrounds) were vectoriced or digitally painted and redrawed in some cases depending of the desired composition.
Designs are grouped and centered in the front side of the shirts. Moreover aren't framed giving the sense of merging with the background.
The whole design process was made using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator in some cases. Final designs were arranged based on the cutting patterns and fabric optimization and printing process was done sublimating the blank fabric roll.
The credidts are in the backside, listing the characters of the main design and mentioning the show creators.
Following the rad and crazy 90s cartoons style, the edition of the photos was full of elements like doodles, characters, vintage candies and toys.
The final images were made to be publised on instagram, so the whole composition were sectioned in squares.
