Aiko パラダイス released a conceptual collection called Hate & Love, I made this promotional image mixing some 3d elements and collage.
The main idea was based on The Birth of Venus classical paintings (Boticcelli, Bouguereau), I attemped to recreate the scene with the position of the models in the original photo and keeping in mind the post-production process.
The glass shell and metal daggers were made with Blender and I used the photo as a source of reflexes and light to create a coherent look.
The title and letters were rendered in Photoshop, extruding the plain font and adding bevel. Moreover looking for glass-like appearance.
out ofFor background I used a hand-painted sky and, referencing the classical paintings, I added the water to simulate the sea and the wings to turn the models into angels.
Thinking in old architecture, I imagined a gate, made full of roses that simbolize the passion of hate and love.
